What do you do?

This is a conversation I've had often enough that I can follow it through without thinking at all.

YL: What do you do?
ME: I'm a computer consultant.
YL: Oh wow.
YL: What does that mean?
ME: Well I generally get hired by a large company like a bank for a few months to advise on improvements needed to their computer systems and then write the programs they need.
YL: Oh wow, you must be rich.
ME: ;)

Now to answer the question you are probably about to ask. No I haven't chatted up a woman after such a conversation. But I expect that the possibility of doing so will encourage some of you to change careers. ;)
